Refund policy

Returns 

We have a 14 days return policy on eligible items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.  To understand if your item is eligible for return, please read the section "Non-Returnable" items below. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unwashed  and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@thesundaycloset.com. Please include your order number. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping is a flat $8.00 fee and is the responsibility of the customer. Refunds will only be made to the original form of payment. 

If you decide to return the item for store credit or an exchange, return shipping cost will be covered by the Sunday Closet. Please indicate to us when you reach out that you'd like store credit or an exchange for size. If we are able to do a direct exchange for another size, we will. Otherwise, we will issue you store credit.  Please read more about exchanged and store credit below.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-returnable items
Due to the limited nature of our inventory that are marked at a discount, all sales marked at a discount on The Sunday Closet are final. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for sizing, fit, or change of mind. 

All jewelry, handbags and facial products are final sale items. 

If a discount code or influencer code is used on an item marked at full price, items are available for exchange only, and you will receive store credit.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@thesundaycloset.com.

Exchanges & Store Credit 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your exchange, and let you know if the exchange was approved or not. If we are able to do a direct exchange, such as for the next size up or down, we will do so. If we cannot, we will issue you your store credit within 3 business days of receiving the item.  Please note we can only do one exchange from the initial purchase.  

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care to ensure that every order arrives as expected. If you receive an item that is damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer service team within 5 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the damage or error

Once we receive and review your request, we’ll work with you to determine the best possible resolution.

Important Notes

  • Damage claims submitted more than 5 business days after delivery may not be eligible for review.
  • Items showing signs of wear or use are not eligible for consideration.
  • Because our inventory is limited and often final sale, replacements may not always be available.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
